Jarno van den Noort

I started my career as a truck driver and developed a passion for writing and photography on the side. You may know me as 'The Traveling Poet'. I shared my poems, often inspired by daily life on the road, on Instagram. I have published several poetry collections, including A load of poems for happy faces and Read this while you're there – the best alternative to your smartphone. In addition, I maintained a blog about my life as a truck driver. I am now a full-time freelancer, and earn a living with photography, social media management, editing and creating content. I still do the occasional ride, because I still enjoy being on the road with a truck.

With a background as a truck driver, I know how things really are on the road and in the sector. I now combine that knowledge with my journalistic and visual expertise. With my own experience as a driver, I know how tough, responsible and undervalued this profession is. My mission is therefore crystal clear: I show who the real heroes of the road are. By capturing their stories, faces and passion — honest, raw and visually powerful — I give drivers the appreciation they deserve.

Make the Truck Driver Great Again.

I believe in communication that goes beyond numbers and freight volumes. Strong brands and organizations in transport & logistics are built on authentic stories, clear content and image that touches.

I create these stories for trade magazines, industry organizations and transport companies. With portraits and employer branding campaigns to social content and in-depth reports. In this way I tell the story of brands and organizations powerfully and credibly.

Looking for honest communication, strong photography and meaningful content?

Then I would like to be in the picture.
