Jarno van den Noort is a Dutch trade journalist, photographer and content creator with a strong focus on the transport and logistics sector. He is also known as “De Rijdende Dichter”, a pseudonym he uses for his poetic and visual stories that he shares from his experiences as a truck driver. This has earned him considerable media attention in the Netherlands, both on the radio and in the written press. His unique combination of trade journalism, photography and personal stories has led to various publications and performances.

Jarno has published two poetry collections:

  1. “A load of poems, for happy faces”: A collection of his short, recognizable poems written on the road.
  2. “Read this while you're there”: A collection of humorous poems, intended as light reading for on the toilet.

  • NPO Radio 1 – Opinion Makers: In January 2023, Jarno was a guest on the program Talking Points, where he spoke about his career transition from full-time truck driver to a combination driver and content creator.
